What Are Silicone Rubber Keyboards?
Silicone rubber keyboards are high quality washable keyboards - fully sealed, waterproof and flexible. The silicon material is extremely inert, unaffected by harsh climate or by solvents and acids, so cleaning with liquids or disinfectants is easy and cross-contamination risk stays low.
Moulded keypads improve tactile feedback, sealing and aesthetics, supplied as separate parts or built into full keypad assemblies. Keys can be screen printed or laser etched, offered in many colours, and - since silicon is naturally translucent - made illuminated.
